Sorry, I am in California, but I am with you . . .

I have been having intense natural (or unnatural) weather and diaster dreams for the last few years. They are all very specific about where to go and what to do, and generally have some great insight. I have numerous dreams about tidal waves, floods, earthquakes, and lately, rising sea levels . . .

Thought I would share one because it is so ludicrous;

I am in a seaside town, and the sea levels are rising; no a big apocalyptic thing, just this gradual realization of what is happening. I can see the water is in the streets now, and realize that we can't stay here anymore. There is this mass exodus of people moving to higher ground up this steep mountain, but is going really slow. I realize that the people are hauling all these huge heavy appliances (washers, refrigerators, etc.); even in my dream I am saying this is nutts, you can even use these things where your going, but they wont leave them behind.

Then these sea people show up, they are unaffected by the rising sea because they live on the sea (Water world), but apparently we owe money to them for the appliances and they won't let us leave until we pay for the appliances. We explain that the sea is rising and we have to leave; they are very cordial, but basically it isn't their problem.

I think the message is pretty self explanatory; I just wonder how many people will die or suffer in an emergency situation because we won't leave unnecessary things behind, and/or how many of us will be unable to save ourselves because we are tied to our debts . . .
